The group standard was first drafted during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2022 through an offline meeting held by the drafting unit at Shenyang Paideling Technology Co., Ltd. in Shenyang, Liaoning Province, taking over three years to complete, making it one of the earlier standards in the field of industrial film digitization.
The standard provides detailed specifications on the general requirements for digital scanning and imaging of radiographic films, the quality requirements for digital films, digital scanning processes, digital film management, and the evaluation of digital films. It effectively addresses issues such as inconsistent imaging quality and chaotic data management caused by the lack of unified standards in the industry, promoting its development toward greater standardization, normalization, and digitalization.
